Hotel Jansen was founded by a family, with the very first location built at Schinkel. They noticed how many international students arrived in Amsterdam full of big dreams and high expectations of a vibrant new life. Only to find the reality lonelier than expected, often spending evenings alone on the couch. So that’s why they created Hotel Jansen. To offer warmth, stability, and real connection to those chasing unforgettable experiences while still needing to feel seen, supported, and safe.
